Block adaptive filtering

Conference ·
OSTI ID:5468358
Block filtering implies the calculation of a block or finite set of filter outputs from a block of input values. A procedure for doing this with adaptive filters is developed along with analyses of convergence properties and computational complexity. It is shown that the block approach can offer advantages in convergence speed, accuracy and computational complexity over conventional adaptive filtering techniques under the proper circumstances.
