Multidimensional monopole and supermembrane vacua with nontrivial circle bundle

We present generalized monopole solutions in multidimensional theories. Both the Gross-Perry-Sorkin and the Bais-Batenburg solutions are contained as special cases of the general solutions. Furthermore, a new class of classical solutions of a supermembrane with nontrivial circle bundle, i.e., supermembrane monopole, are also derived. The Hamiltonian of the fermion fluctuations about the monopole vacuum configuration is weakly Hermitian, in contrast with the same problem in QED. Similarly, we can prove that the momentum operator is also weakly Hermitian. The electrically charged and dyon analogues to the monopole vacua are also discussed.
