A coal mine ventilation survey method
This report presents a practical, working tool for conducting mine ventilation surveys under conditions found in most coal mines. It describes a method used by the Pittsburgh Health Technology Center, Mine Safety and Health Administration for conducting these surveys. The procedures outlined include conducting air pressure and air quality surveys underground, and fan pressure readings on the surface. A brief description of how the data gathered is prepared for a digital computer program simulator evaluation is included in the report. 16 refs., 18 figs.
