Information barriers prevent many retrofits for energy conservation in the multifamily sector. One information barrier, the lack of monitored building performance data is addressed by compiling and analyzing measured data on the energy savings and cost effectiveness of conservation measures and practices installed on existing multifamily units. Data sources are identified, and building characteristics and retrofit measures are described. 9 references, 3 figures, 3 tables.
