Wood burning furnace
A wood burning furnace is described which consists of: a furnace housing having front, rear, top, bottom and sidewalls; a combustion chamber within the furnace housing having an enclosure wall means extending between the front and rear walls of the furnace whereby the front and rear walls of the furnace housing form the front and rear walls of the combustion chamber, the enclosure wall means of the combustion chamber being spaced inwardly from the top, bottom, and sidewalls of the furnace housing to define an air circulation chamber therebetween; air intake means for admitting ambient air into the air circulation chamber, whereby the ambient air may circulate within the furnace housing around the combustion chamber; air exhaust means for exhausting the ambient air into the area to be heated after it has circulated through the air circulation chamber; and ambient air preheating means for preheating the air before it is admitted into the air circulation chamber.
