High-power high-reliability pulse generator for supplying a CO/sub 2/ laser

A description is given of a pulse generator capable of supplying a CO/sub 2/ power laser at a pulse frequency rate of 16 Hz. An interesting feature of this device is that the frequency can be increased beyond 100 Hz without impairing the device's proper functioning in any way. The main characteristic of this generator is high reliability for long-life, steady-state applications.
