B{umlt a}cklund transformations and Painlev{acute e} analysis: Exact soliton solutions for strongly rarefied relativistic cold plasma

The relativistic nonlinear self-consistent equations for a strongly rarefied plasma with stationary ions is considered. The resulting system of equations is reduced to a single sinh-Gordon equation. Using the B{umlt a}cklund transformations technique and Painlev{acute e} analysis, a set of exact soliton solutions is obtained for stationary and nonstationary equations that describes the charge density equilibrium configuration. {copyright} {ital 1997 American Institute of Physics.}
