Dreisbach shows advanced high performance EV

Dreisbach Electromotive of Santa Barbara, California has constructed a unique high performance electric vehicle, designated the X-1. In prelminary testing the car designers claim it has broken or exceeded 6 world speed records for electrics and matched the course record for mid-sized competition modified sports cars at a racing event. It has a measured equivalent fuel efficiency of about 290 mpg of gasoline at a constant 58 mph in its racing configuration with no exhaust or emissions, according to the developers.
