Experimental and numerical studies of liquid and slurry-jet penetration, break-up, and atomization were performed. The measurements were done mainly at Mach 3.0 with P sub 0 = 4 atm. and T sub 0 = 300 K. Brief summaries of recent progress on various tasks are given.
