CO/sub 2/ climate research plan
The plan addresses the questions related to the global and regional rate of CO/sub 2/-induced climate change. The objective is to define the key questions in such a way that research is directed at experiments where answers are needed rather than at experiments where answers can be easily obtained. This research plan includes a short history of the effects of CO/sub 2/ on climate as studied, followed by a description of the structure of the CO/sub 2/-climate subsystem. The major part of the plan describes the research tasks within the subsystem. The final section of the plan addresses program priorities and scheduling.
