Coal-bed methane potential of the Wind River Indian Reservation. Shoshone Arapaho Tribes

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:5435528

The Shoshone and Arapaho Tribes of the Wind River Indian Reservation have decided to actively and aggressively pursue the development of their Coal-bed Methane resources through the authority of the Indian Minerals Development Act of 1982. The Tribes' in-house staff, working together with the Division of Energy and Mineral Resources, believe that they have made substantial strides toward that goal. The booklet is intended to provide information on the government structure, Federal interaction, business relationships, Tribal organization, and geological potential of the Wind River Indian Reservation.
