This report is a compilation of the critical component operating experience at the Exxon Coal Liquefaction Plant (ECLP) at Baytown, Texas. Monthly, quarterly, and annual technical progress reports, as well as topical reports and component meeting minutes were reviewed for performance information concerning pumps, valves, instruments and controls, materials and heaters and heat exchangers. The component information is presented as a synopsis which describes the component state of development, a performance summary and an operational history, which gives a chronological listing of significant component events. This report is intended to serve as a convenient locator of component information that has appeared in the various pilot plant reports, as well as, to serve as a fast overview of the history of component problems and solutions which have been experienced at the pilot plant.
