Investigation of the {sup 12}C+{sup 12}C E{sub c.m.}=32.5 MeV resonance

A fine-step excitation function has been measured across the resonance reported at 32.5 MeV in the {sup 12}C[{sup 12}C,{sup 12}C(0{sub 2}{sup +})]{sup 12}C(0{sub 2}{sup +}) reaction. Correlated structure is also observed in other exit channels involving the 0{sub 2}{sup +} and 3{sub 1}{sup {minus}} states of {sup 12}C and in the {sup 16}O+{sup 8}Be channel. {copyright} {ital 1997} {ital The American Physical Society}
