Physicochemical and sorption properties of semicokes

An investigation of the physico-chemical and sorption properties of ordinary and modified semi-cokes is reported. It is shown that thermal and oxidative treatment of these materials promotes the development of micro- and intermediate-pores and increases the sorption capacity of the samples.
