Each paper offers a general discussion of energy system planning and management in the country, an energy demand analysis, an energy supply analysis, an environmental analysis, and an integration of decision making and analysis. The countries are Austria, the Federal Republic of Germany, Finland, France, the German Democratic Republic, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Poland, Sweden, the USSR, and the US.
