OSTI ID:5393459
While crude oil and natural gas continue to be the major worldwide fuel supply, several prevailing factors (rising prices, declining conventional hydrocarbon reserves and the instability of crude imports) are encouraging many nations to take a concerted look at the contribution that synfuels have to make. Details are presented on what countries are involved in synfuels and why, which synfuels they are involved with and what future synfuel production levels are likely to be through the year 2000.
