A low temperature sintered solid dielectric capacitor is described comprising a dielectric ceramic body and at least two electrodes in contact therewith, the dielectric ceramic body consisting essentially of: 100 parts by weight of a major ingredient expressed by the formula, (CaO)/sub k./(Zr/sub 1-x/Ti/sub x/)O/sub 2/, where k is a numeral in the range of 0.8 to 1.3 inclusive, and x is a numeral in the range of zero to 0.3 inclusive; and from 0.2 to 10.0 parts by weight of an additive mixture of lithium oxide, silicon dioxide and at least one metal oxide selected from the group consisting of barium oxide, magnesium oxide, zinc oxide, strontium oxide and calcium oxide.
