Logarithmic lepton-mass singularities in baryon. beta. decay

We study the logarithmic lepton-mass singularities contributions to the semileptonic hyperon ..beta..-decay probability. We find that such contributions are independent of strong interactions. This result is consistent with and a useful extension of a theorem by Marciano and Sirlin on ..pi../sub l/2 decay.
