33-W cw dye laser

Journal Article · · IEEE J. Quant. Electron.; (United States)
A continuous rhodamine 6G jet stream dye laser was pumped by a high-power multimode argon laser. Using water with a viscosity-raising additive as a solvent, no thermooptical problems arose up to the available pump power of 110 W. The maximum output power of the CW dye laser was 33 W at an efficiency of 30%.
