Relativistic calculations for NN-N. delta. scattering with pion and rho exchange

The NN scattering Bethe-Salpeter equation is solved for T = 1 partial wave amplitudes up to 1 GeV lab energy. Coupling to N..delta.. intermediate states is included by ..pi.. and rho exchange, while NNbold-arrow-left-rightNN interactions are due to combined ..pi.., rho, eta, epsilon, delta, and ..omega.. mesons. Inclusion of rho exchange improves agreement with phase shift analysis in a systematic way.
