Absence of the nonrenormalizable superpotential in the sigma-model perturbation for smooth (0,2) compactifications

We show that to all orders in the sigma-model perturbation all the nonrenormalizable terms of the effective superpotential are absent for smooth compactifications with spacetime supersymmetry and at least (0,2) world-sheet supersymmetry. Thus, such terms could be at most exponentially suppressed by the radius of the compactified space.
