Eastern gas shales mineback report: simulation study of constant pressure testing in the Devonian shales

The objective of this study was to predict flow rate decline and pressure buildup behavior resulting from a 45-day constant pressure drawdown followed by a 45-day buildup period in the presence of wellbore storage, boundary effects, and realistic shale properties. Interference data, both drawdown and buildup were also reviewed to provide insight into primarily reservoir engineering studies for the Eastern Mineback Program but also for possible future offset well testing.
