A comparative study of hexahydrido - and hexadeuteridoaluminates of lithium and sodium; Electric conductivity of Li/sub 3/AlH and Na/sub 3/AlH/sub 6/

Electric conduction properties of Na/sub 3/AlH/sub 6/ and Li/sub 3/AlH/sub 6/ are investigated in order to study the relative behavior of alkaline and (AlH/sub 6/)/sup 3-/ ions in hexahydridoaluminates. Electric conduction in Na/sub 3/AlH/sub 6/ is explained in terms of hopping electron conduction. For Li/sub 3/AlH/sub 6/ no obvious argument can be presented, either for electron or Li/sup +/ ions conduction.
