An improved wind driven turbine generator is described including turbine blades disposed in a turbine housing and mounted on a rotatably mounted turbine shaft wherein the turbine housing defines and air inlet opening and an air discharge opening whereby air passing from the inlet opening to the discharge opening impinges on the turbine blades causing the shaft to rotate, the improvement comprising: a low pressure chamber disposed to receive air from the discharge opening of the turbine housing, the low pressure chamber defining a plurality of discharge ports; and an airfoil mounted adjacent to at least one of the discharge ports where the longer air path of the airfoil is closest to the port whereby wind passing around the airfoil reduces the pressure at the port.
