This paper describes a cryogen supply system. It comprises: a fluid container: an exterior housing external to the fluid container; a radiation shield exterior to the fluid container and interior to the exterior housing; support means for supporting the radiation shield; a fluid chamber support for supporting the fluid chamber; a fluid input tube extending from the interior of the fluid chamber through the exterior housing for facilitating the introduction of liquid cryogen into the fluid chamber; a gas input tube for facilitating the introduction of gas into the gas region to, in turn, facilitate the forcing the flow of gas into the gas inlet and through the cooling module; a gas inlet; an outlet; and a cooling module positioned within the fluid container; a gas valve control means; a liquid valve control means; a controllable heater connected to the outlet for controllably heating the gas expelled through the outlet.
