The travelers attended the symposium of the workshop on Nuclear Structure in the Era of New Spectroscopy, Part B: The Nucleus at High Spin,'' that was held at the Niels Bohr Institute (NBI) in Copenhagen, Denmark. They gave a total of five presentations that covered various aspects of the nuclear spectroscopy research at ORNL. In addition, one of the travelers (C.B.) attended the first week of Part C: Nuclear Physics with Large Arrays,'' of the same workshop, where he discussed the heavy-ion transfer work at the HHIRF. The travelers visited the Tandem Accelerator Laboratory of the Niels Bohr Institute at Roskilde, Denmark, where they discussed plans for new instrumentation developments and research activities of mutual interest.
