A description is given of a combination of diamine and higher polyamine Mannich condensation products useful in gasoline as carburetor detergents and useful also to control intake valve deposits and quick-heat intake manifold deposits. The diamine is ZNHC/sub n/H/sub 2n/NHZ and the polyamine is ZNH(C/sub x/H/sub 2x/N(R'))/sub y/--C/sub x/H/sub 2x/NHZ wherein Z is an alkyl-and hydroxy-substituted benzyl, the alkyl having 50 to 1000 carbon atoms; R' is hydrogen or Z with the proviso that at least one R' is hydrogen; n is 2 to 6; x is 2 or 3; and y is 1 to 5.
