Peculiarities of the isotopic effect in SnMo/sub 6/S/sub 8/

The isotopic effect is investigated in SnMo/sub 6/S/sub 8/ samples using Sn/sup 112/ and Sn/sup 124/ tin isotopes and Mo/sup 92/ and Mo/sup 100/ molybdenum isotopes. In the case of molybdenum, the isotopic effect has a normal sign. The data obtained for the tin isotopes lead to the assumption that par delta /sub c//partial M > 0.
