This conference attempts to remain in the forefront of emerging technology in the electric power industry. Consequently, more papers are devoted to such topics as energy conservation, waste heat recovery, coal conversion, combined cycles, cogeneration, district heating, wind energy-conversion systems, solar power generation, etc. Twenty-three of the policy-type or less-technical papers from this proceedings were processed for the Energy Data Base (EDB) and Energy Abstracts for Policy Analysis (EAPA). The technical papers will be processed for EDB later.
