The IDM29110 is a high-performance microprogram controller intended for use in very high speed microprogrammed machines as a speed microprogrammed machines as a speed-matched companion to the new state of the art ALUS, multipliers, shifters, and a variety of other dedicated processing components. The IDM29110 features control fields for user-defined instruction sets. Pascal-like microprogram flow control structures are provided for. In addition to double pipelining applications, the controller makes possible faster performance of the less complex non-pipelined and single pipelined architectures. Its internal architectures and technology make it the fastest TTL-compatible controller available.
