Q-values and isomer energies from high-resolution alpha-, proton-, and gamma-ray spectroscopy above /sup 146/Gd

Conference · · AIP Conf. Proc.; (United States)
OSTI ID:5337405
The low- and high-spin ..beta..-decay isomers and the low-lying single proton excitations in N = 82 and N = 84 odd-Z nuclei above /sup 146/Gd were investigated by particle- and ..gamma..-ray spectroscopy following on-line mass separation. Alpha-gamma coincidence measurements establish the relative energies of the ..pi..s/sub 1/2/ and ..pi..h/sub 11/2/ isomers in both /sup 151/Ho/sub 84/ and /sup 147/Tb/sub 82/ with better than 1 keV accuracy. The present status of a high-resolution proton- and ..gamma..-ray study of the /sup 147/Dy ..-->.. /sup 147/Tb ..beta..-decay, providing a link of 1.6-h/sup 147/Tb to the well known /sup 146/Gd mass, is discussed.
