Superconducting quasiparticle lifetimes associated with spin-fluctuation scattering are calculated. A Berk-Schrieffer interaction with an irreducible susceptibility given by a BCS form is used to model the quasiparticle damping due to spin fluctuations. Results are presented for both [ital s]-wave and [ital d]-wave gaps. Also, quasiparticle lifetimes due to impurity scattering are calculated for a [ital d]-wave superconductor.
