Land analysis systems using spatially located data and computer technology are being developed and used by the Division of Forestry, Fisheries, and Wildlife Development of the Tennessee Valley Authority in cooperation with the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. They include: a monitoring system to identify potential land-use conflicts; an analysis system for land, forest, and wildlife capability studies; a system for multiple land-use decision-making; and a model for land management planning and impact studies. These systems aid TVA in land planning and development, land management decision-making, and environmental impact assessment based upon existing data resources.
