A new s-Ca{sub 19}Cu{sub 2}(PO{sub 4}){sub 14} monophosphate with the whitlockite-like structure was synthesized and its structure was determined by the Rietveld analysis (R{sub wp} = 6.15%, R{sub p} = 4.66%, R{sub 1} = 3.44%, R{sub F} = .08% for 758 reflections). The crystal symmetry is trigonal (R3c space group, Z = 3) and the hexagonal unit cell parameters are a = 10.3638(1) {angstrom}, c = 37.219(2) {angstrom}, and V = 3462(2) {angstrom}{sup 3}. The copper atom is octahedrally coordinated.
