Para-Grassmann extension of the Neveu-Schwarz-Ramond algebra

A para-Grassmann analog of the O(2)-extended superconformal Neveu-Schwarz-Ramond algebra is proposed. A model of a parafermion string is considered and shown to have critical dimension D = 2. It is shown that the change in the internal statistics leads to a matching change of the space-time statistics of the components of the scalar superfield that describes the parafermionic string. The physical states of the parafermionic string are related to the physical states of the fermionic string by a Klein (-1)/sup F/ transformation
