The Conference Proceedings comprises extended as well as short summaries and some abstracts of 66 papers presented divided into 14 session themes. Research session contains papers on acoustic surface waves, neutron radiographic methods. NDT methods for small composite rocket motor components. Acoustic emission session contains a paper on an in-flight acoustic crack detection system. Sonics session deals with various aspects of ultrasonic inspection of welds, ultrasonic transducers, ultrasonic imaging. Penetrating radiation session dealt with radiographic standards, tomographic visualization of stress corrosion cracks in tubing, X-ray examination of cables, testing of the shroud of Turin. Other sessions were: electrical/magnetic methods, steel producers, aerospace, chemical and petroleum marine, nuclear components leak testing, utilities session, and NDT general session, all dealing with various methods and applications of nondestructive testing. 9 papers are indexed separately.
