Hyperfine structure of the 4f/sup 12/6s/sup 2/ /sup 3/H and /sup 3/F terms of /sup 167/Er I by atomic-beam, laser-rf double resonance

The atomic-beam, laser-rf double-resonance technique has been used to make precise measurements of the dipole and quadrupole hyperfine constants of the /sup 3/H/sub 6,5,4/ and /sup 3/F/sub 4,3,2/ states of the 4f/sup 12/6s/sup 2/ configuration of /sup 167/Er I. The hyperfine integrals are extracted and compared with published ab initio calculations.
