Dirac bound-state spectra of QQ-bar, qq-bar, and Qq-bar systems

The mass spectra of QQ-bar, qq-bar, and Qq-bar systems are studied in a unified manner in the Dirac equation with an equally mixed four-vector and scalar power-law potential of the form V(r) = Ar/sup 0.1/ +- V/sub 0/. It is found that with this potential, which describes the psi, UPSILON, and phi systems reasonably well, the current-mass values for the light quarks give an excellent fit to the spectra of D, F, and B mesons.
