The authors discuss spin reorientation temperature (T/sub sr/) and magnetocrystalline anisotropy field (H/sub a/) of Nd/sub 2/(Fe/sub 1-x/Co/sub x/)/sub 14/B/sub 1-y/C/sub y/ (in the temperature range 200-450K) determined by AC initial susceptibility measurements and SPD technique respectively. Temperature dependence of saturation magnetization (M/sub s/) was measured on finely powdered polycrystalline sample in the extraction magnetometer with field up to 80 KO/sub e/. It was found that Nd/sub 2/(Fe/sub 1-y/Co/sub x/)/sub 14/C (X{le}0.4) series were mixture of two phases Nd/sub 2/(Fe,Co)/sub 17/C/sub x/ and {alpha} -(Fe,Co) irrespective of heat treatment schedules.
