Improvement of the beam quality of the high power solid state laser using phase conjugation

Stimulated Brillouin Scattering (SBS) as a phase conjugate mirror is successfully used in high power solid state laser system due to its self adaptive character and its simple setup without optical damage in SBS medium. In oscillator and in amplifier with the SBS phase conjugate mirror the output beam quality has been improved. The beam quality with the diffraction limit and high power were obtained.
