Alcohol-Fuels Program Membrane-Research Subtask: annual progress report, FY 1981

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:5287906
Ethanol for motor fuel must be dried beyond the azeotrope, and using distillation as the drying process adds appreciably to energy and dollar costs of the product. Membrane separations offer means that have the potential to decrease these drying costs. The objectives, milestones, R and D program planning, research program activities, and scientific staff are described.
