We present a compact and inexpensive monolithic prism assembly which can easily be substituted to one end mirror of a conventional laser. While offering all of the advantages of a conventional multielement antiresonant ring colliding pulse mode-locking setup, our device does not require more alignment than a single cavity mirror does.
