This talk is a summary of the session on Intermediate Energy Phenomena I of the Eighth International Symposium on High-Energy Spin Physics held in Minneapolis, Minnesota (September 12--17). The contributions can be classified into five groups, namely elastic N-N scattering, elastic and charge-exchange proton-antiproton scattering, inelastic N-N scattering, pion-nucleon scattering, and some few body reactions.
