Procedures for calculating flowing and static bottomhole pressures are described and a microcomputer program to perform the calculations is presented. Finally, three example problems are given. Bottomhole pressure values are often required to assess well deliverability, make reserve estimates, determine formation characteristics or design production facilities. The program presented will compute static or flowing bottomhole pressures for gas or gas condensate wells based upon observed well surface data.
