The Glauber-Sitenko theory deals with the dependence of the polarization observables in scattering of antinucleons by spin-zero nuclei on the components {ital A}({ital q}) and {ital C}({ital q}) of the {ital {bar p}N} scattering amplitude. The polarization and spin-flip function of the antinucleons are represented in analytical form as the sum of a smooth term, determined mainly by the magnitudes of {ital A}(0) and {ital C}(0), and an oscillating term, determined by the difference of the slope parameters of the components {ital A}({ital q}) and {ital C}({ital q}). Calculations for {ital {bar p}}{sup 40}Ca scattering demonstrate the practical applicability of the results.
