The statements of eleven witnesses from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) presented at a Congressional hearing on February 22, 1980 are reproduced along with additional material submitted for the record. At issue was the NRC's authorization request for fiscal year 1981. The testimony included a review of 1979 activities, including the Three Mile Island accident, and an agenda for future action. Budget justifications were made on the basis of these proposals.
