The authors investigate phase transformations occurring in a variety of titanium base alloys--VT6, VT14, VT15, VT16, VT22, and VT23--during various heat treatment regimes and the effects of these transformations on mechanical properties as well as the effects of temperature and different contents of molybdenum and aluminium on grain boundary growth.
