Enthalpy and heat capacity of lanthanum sulfides

This work is concerned with the experimental examination of the enthalpy of LaS, La/sub 3/S/sub 4/, La/sub 2/S/sub 3/, and LaS/sub 2/ in a wide temperature range, calculation of the main thermodynamic functions of these compounds, and analysis of the nature of variation of enthalpy and heat capacity in relation to the sulfur content of these compounds.
