This book presents a review of emissions factors of PAH. This volume covers: analytical techniques of PAH (including gas and high-performance liquid chromatographic analysis), its heterocyclic analogues and their application to various environmental samples; exposure, uptake, metabolism, and detection of PAH in the human body; analysis of metabolites and determination of PAH in body fluids; the environmental fate of PAH, detailing new compounds that form from combinations of PAH and other pollutants. Volume 2 of this book includes discussions of the different sources of PAH, such as coal-fired power plants, biomass combustion, and automobiles, and gives vital information on pertinent exposure levels, emission estimation, and measurement.
