The Ante-Creek Beaverhill Lake Pool is a deep, high-pressure reservoir containing a light crude. A miscible flood was designed on the basis of laboratory tests utilizing the gas from the separator and water injection. The calculated recovery efficiency is 61%. The field was unitized and the flood started in May 1968, with gas and water injection alternated between 2 injectors. Production from the unit is currently at the full allowable of 1,600 bopd and the flood is operating satisfactorily.
